Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Stockroom Attendant for the 1st shift to support stockroom and production control functions and provide customer support to Linamar employees and suppliers. Reporting to the Stockroom/MRO Supervisor, the role focuses on accurate stock handling and timely delivery to production lines.

The position requires a High School Diploma, 2+ years of stockroom experience, and the ability to operate Plex system, handle paperwork, and maintain an organized, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of stockroom experience.
• Ability to complete required paperwork.
• Possess problem solving abilities.
• Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand the use of manufacturing inventory items.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to obtain mobile equipment certification.
• Possess strong organizational skills.
• Ability to utilize a computer in a Windows environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and put stockroom items away in the proper location.
• Verify packing slip for the amount shipped.
• Conduct cycle counting, stockroom transactions utilizing the Plex system, and check e-mail daily.
• Maintain shipping dock cleanliness.
• Drive mobile equipment to stage items and put them away.
• Other Duties as assigned.
• Maintain area cleanliness.
