Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Production Technician to ensure adherence to policies and support safety, quality, and delivery goals. The role includes setting up CNC machines, operating robots or transfer lines, and mentoring operators on procedures.

You will analyze CMM readouts and blueprints, enter data, and help reduce downtime and scrap while ensuring accuracy and safety in a loud manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift license required.
• Attention to detail and good communication are essential.
• Strong computer and Excel skills preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Actively work to reduce operational downtime.
• Participate in scrap reduction efforts.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, robots, dials, transfer lines or other machines.
• Train machine operators on the functions of their machines and plant procedures.
• Enter scrap and production data into computer systems.
• Understand and apply CMM readouts, blueprints and gage reports.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and participate in training sessions.
