Job Description

Job Title: Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Replenish stock, components, and clean dunnage in work cells.
• Accurately scan materials or enter data into software for inventory management.
• Inspect finished skids for missing parts, ensure tag accuracy, initial tags, band skids, complete stock transfer forms, and place items in the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness in work cells, warehouse, outside breezeway, and dunnage storage areas.
• Load and unload trucks, sort materials, pack parts, and organize the warehouse and surrounding areas.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the MP&L Manager.

Academic/Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Skills/Experience

• At least five years of experience operating forklift trucks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Capability to train other employees as needed.
• Adherence to all safety rules and regulations, including completing forklift inspection sheets.
• Basic computer skills.
