Job Summary

Loads and unloads materials within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move materials to and from aircraft, trucks, or trains, and within the storage facility. Has knowledge of commonly-used practices and procedures within this field. Performs job functions based on instructions and pre-established guidelines, working under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Job Description

• Receive and disburse MRO items as instructed. Verify correctness of items and quantities received against receiver or P.O. information. Stock items accurately per locater system. Distribute receiving paperwork to finance. Update Oracle to reflect items received.
• Validate requisition information, accurately pull items for disbursement per requisition. Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts. Update Oracle to reflect items disbursed.
• Perform daily cycle counting to prevent stockouts.
• Conduct daily checks of lift trucks to ensure all systems are functional and safety devices are in place.
• Maintain good housekeeping and be available for additional assignments as required by supervisor.

Additional Job Details

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read and write, perform shop math, and understand part numbers and inventory systems required. Must be computer literate, capable of entering information into inventory systems, and proficient in Excel.

Experience

Requires 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience. Experience with Oracle computer systems preferred.
