Job description

Job Summary

Loads and unloads materials within a warehouse or storage facility using handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or conveyors to move items to and from aircraft, trucks, trains, and within the storage area. Works under immediate supervision, following instructions and pre-established guidelines. Reports to a supervisor or manager.

Job Description

  • Receive and disburse MRO items as instructed, verifying correctness of items and quantities against P.O. or receiver information.
  • Accurately stock items using the locater system and update Oracle accordingly.
  • Distribute receiving paperwork to the finance department.
  • Validate requisition information and pull items for disbursement, noting inventory levels to prevent stock outs.
  • Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct daily checks of lift trucks to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and be available for additional assignments as required.

Additional Job Details

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read, write, perform shop math, and understand part numbers and inventory systems. Computer literacy required, including proficiency in Excel.

Experience

6 months to 1 year of relevant experience. Oracle system knowledge preferred.
