Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced individual for our Warehouse department.

Basic Job Functions

Perform duties related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the establishment. This is a Monday - Friday 1st Shift position with a starting rate of $22.51. We are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a 5% quarterly bonus plan, along with a full benefits package.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control on alloy by heat numbers and balance foundry alloy hold area daily.
• Fill requisitions or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute to production or assembly line.
• Perform incoming inspection of alloy and complete receiving reports.
• Maintain proper containers for alloys by job lot number and complete required documentation.
• Control revert to prevent contamination or mixing alloy types.
• Operate forklift to transport items between warehouse and plant.
• Work according to charge log schedule to cut required metal charges.
• Support foundry metal requirements based on the foundry schedule and/or caster.
• Use computer to enter and maintain inventory records.
• Perform raw material cycle counts as required by accounting.
• Restock, sort, label, and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules, schedules, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and inventory records.
• Effective communication skills for speaking before groups of customers or employees.
• Problem-solving skills to handle practical issues with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagram, schedule).
