About the role

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. You will maximize product inventory and support online business operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience. While both part-time and full‑time positions generally focus on merchandising responsibilities, you may also be assigned sales, front‑end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, you will be referred to as a Merchandiser and report to the store management team.

Responsibilities

• Process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, and place signage.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional customer service: greet customers, build relationships, and inform them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws (if delivery is an essential job function).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience, 1+ year in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and stand on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
• Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills and/or experience. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Pay Range: $22.05 – $30.87 per hour.
