Job summary

Total Wine & More in Florida is seeking Store Team Members to support sales, merchandising, inventory control, and online order fulfillment while delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

This seasonal role may be part-time or full-time depending on business needs. Responsibilities include stocking, assisting customers, and adhering to all laws related to alcohol sales; prior retail or POS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience, with 1+ year in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and placing signage.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional service and personalized customer experience through greetings, relationship building, and product/service communication.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol, and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely, following company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws (if delivery is an essential job function).

About the role

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. They handle merchandising, product inventory, and support online business operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Positions may be part‑time or full‑time and responsibilities include sales, front‑end, or other duties as required. Internally referred to as Merchandiser, team members report to store management.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8‑10 hours a day.
• Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
• Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions during the workday.

Pay and Hours

Seasonal position. Pay Range: $14.84 – $20.78 per hour.
