Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves stocked and the store ready for customers at our Warwick, RI location. You’ll work on the floor during the day, stocking products, assisting customers, and locating items.

Overnight shifts focus on deliveries and display resets with minimal customer traffic. You’ll also move products from backroom to floor, rotate inventory, and maintain clean, organized areas while following safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves during the day and assist customers with questions or locating items.
• Prepare the store for overnight deliveries and reset displays.
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and rotate inventory.
• Keep aisles clear, maintain display standards, and ensure clean work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and stocking processes as part of daily routine.
