Shaw’s and Star Market in Barrington, RI is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves full and the store ready for customers. You’ll stock during the day, assist customers, and handle deliveries overnight to reset displays and prepare for the next day.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and organize displays to keep areas tidy
• Assist customers with questions and locating items on the floor
• Process deliveries and backroom transfers to the sales floor
• Rotate inventory and remove outdated products on shelves
• Keep aisles clear and safe, maintain cleanliness and order
• Operate pallet jacks and store equipment following safety guidelines
