Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Stocker to maintain shelves, assist customers on the floor, and support nightly deliveries. You’ll stock products, rotate inventory, and keep displays fresh while adhering to safety and company policies.

Ideal candidates are reliable, physically able to lift up to 60 lbs, and able to work day/evening/overnight shifts in a fast-paced grocery environment. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing skills and ability to assist shoppers on the floor
• Stocking and merchandising to maintain displays and shelves
• Familiarity with store layout, product locations, and pricing
• Maintain accuracy in stocking, rotation, labeling, and removing outdated products
• Organize workload, time management, and keeping areas clean
• Operate store equipment following safety guidelines (pallet jacks, box cutters)
• Monitor stock levels and maintain backroom organization
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and stocking processes
• Adapt to varied shifts, including day, evening, and overnight
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and moving products

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and floor replenishment to keep products available for customers
• Assist customers with questions and locate items on the sales floor
• Process deliveries and restock backrooms to the sales floor as needed
• Maintain organized aisles, clean work areas, and proper display standards
