Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market seeks a Stocker to keep shelves filled, organized, and ready for customers across day and overnight shifts. You’ll move products from backroom to the floor, rotate inventory, and keep aisles clear in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes physical work, teamwork, and attention to detail, with flexible hours, weekly pay, and benefits for eligible employees. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction on sales floor
• Stocking and merchandising accuracy
• Product knowledge of store layout and pricing
• Attention to detail in stocking, rotation, labeling, and removing outdated products
• Organizing workload and maintaining clean, organized areas
• Safe operation of store equipment (pallet jacks, box cutters)
• Monitoring stock levels and backroom organization
• Adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and stocking processes
• Ability to work varied shifts including day/evening/overnight
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and move products as needed

Responsibilities

• Stock products on shelves and ensure displays are tidy and up-to-date
• Assist customers with locating items and provide helpful service
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and rotate inventory
• Maintain clean, safe aisles and backroom organization
• Follow safety guidelines when operating equipment and handling freight
• Support deliveries and inventory counts as needed
