Job summary

Kirkland's in Holly Springs, NC is seeking a Stock Team Member to support freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment. The role emphasizes a high level of organization and urgency as you handle merchandise, markdowns, and stockroom upkeep.

No experience is required although stock experience is a plus. You must be able to work weekends and evenings, lift up to 45 pounds, and adhere to company standards and dress code while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and Manuals.
• Ability to work a schedule to meet the business needs of the store (often early mornings and off hours).
• Ability to lift and move 45 pounds or more on a regular basis; climb ladders; stock and retrieve merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Assist in maintaining an efficient and organized stockroom
• Assist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment
• Provide support for driving profitable sales and protecting company assets
• Take personal accountability for individual performance
• When entering the salesfloor, treat customers respectfully and adhere to dress code
• Maintain commitment to company initiatives and showroom standards
• Take initiative to ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner
• Report to shift with a professional, positive attitude and support Kirkland's Home Values
