Job summary

Kirkland’s Home in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a Stock Team Member to support freight flow, backroom organization, salesfloor replenishment, and price changes. The role requires a high level of organization and a sense of urgency.

You must be organized, able to work early mornings and weekends, and willing to lift 45 pounds. No experience is required, though stock experience is preferred; the position emphasizes a strong work ethic and a team-focused approach to store operations.

Qualifications

• No experience required, stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions and manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to lift and move 45 pounds or more on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Assist in maintaining an efficient and organized stockroom
• Assist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment
• Provides support for driving profitable sales, protecting company assets and support of the Company Handbook during their shifts
• Takes personal accountability for individual performance
• When entering the salesfloor, treats customers in a respectful and professional manner; supports company branding by adhering to dress code
• Maintains high commitment and demonstrates support for company initiatives
• Takes initiative during every shift to ensure shipment is processed in a timely manner
• Reports to shift with a professional, positive, can-do attitude at all times
• Demonstrates a commitment to Kirkland’s Home Values
