Job summary

Kirkland’s Home in Matthews, NC is seeking a Stock Team Member to assist with freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment, while supporting price changes and store presentation. This entry-level role requires no prior experience but offers growth in stockroom skills and safety procedures.

You will work with urgency and accuracy, lifting and moving merchandise, and will need to be available on weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• No experience required; stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results-oriented with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Flexible schedule to meet store needs (early mornings/off hours).
• Ability to lift 45+ pounds regularly and climb ladders.
• Ability to lift and move bulky merchandise and stock retrieve.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain an organized stockroom.
• Assist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment.
• Support driving profitable sales and asset protection, and follow Handbook guidance.
• Take personal accountability for individual performance.
• Treat customers respectfully and adhere to dress code.
• Support company initiatives and Kirkland’s Home Values.
• Move shipments promptly to stock and sales floor.
• Report to shift with a positive attitude and professionalism.
