Ahlstrom Stevens Point Mill is offering a Stock Prep/Operations Process Engineer Intern position for Summer 2027. The role supports the Production Team to meet safety, quality, production, and cost objectives on a paper machine process line.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or similar Engineering degree program.
• Living in or willing to relocate to Stevens Point, WI area May–Aug 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate product improvement or cost optimization projects by conducting trials and drafting trial reports.
• Assist with machine shutdowns and start-ups.
• Provide technical support for process engineers and coordinators using Proficy, Centerlining, Optivision and Aspentech.
• Monitor and analyze process quality and conditions to optimize performance.
• Support safety, productivity, quality, and cost-control initiatives.
