Operations Manager Overview

Michael Kors is a world‑renowned designer of luxury accessories and ready‑to‑wear. The company, founded in 1981, operates stores in major global cities and offers a full range of products.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily store operations, including administration, sales, customer service, communication, marketing, and merchandising.
• Act as Operations Associate Manager in the General Manager’s absence.
• Achieve sales objectives, maintain high operational and merchandising standards, and develop associates for advancement.
• Collaborate on risk management, physical security, and cash controls, and support staff training in register usage.
• Execute cash control procedures, including deposits, safe funds, petty cash, and negative balance corrections.
• Manage shipping, receiving, audits, cycle counts, LP/POS audits, and markdown implementation.
• Maintain store cleanliness, supplies, and service channel maintenance.
• Recruit, evaluate, and develop staff; conduct new hire processing and payroll reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2‑3 years of retail or operations management experience.
• College degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation Range: Local Minimum Wage up to 33.75 USD.
