Job summary

John Davidson Pipes Limited, a leading civils drainage and water management specialist, seeks a proactive Stock Controller to join our Supply Chain team. You’ll help ensure branches have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time.

Responsibilities include Slim4 replenishment, processing orders, coordinating internal transfers, maintaining stock records, and analyzing data to identify discrepancies. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, inventory management and supply chain activities.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Managing Slim4 stock replenishment activities to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Processing branch and supplier orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinating and actioning internal stock transfers between branches.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and system information.
• Reporting on stock checks, analysing results and identifying discrepancies.
• Managing and controlling slow-moving and excess stock.
• Responding to branch and supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Working closely with colleagues across Supply Chain, sharing product, supplier and market knowledge.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to team objectives.
