Key Responsibilities
Stock Control & Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock records through regular cycle counts and stock takes
Perform stock reconciliations and investigate variances
Monitor stock levels, movements, and adjustments to ensure optimal availability
Implement and maintain stock control procedures (FIFO / FEFO where applicable)
Generate and present stock reports, including variances and trends
Conduct spot checks and audits to ensure compliance with stock handling procedures
Operations Coordination
Oversee daily operational processes including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
Coordinate with internal departments (operations, finance, sales) to resolve stock discrepancies
Ensure efficient workflow between warehouse, logistics, and administrative functions
Assist in improving operational systems and processes for better efficiency
Procurement & Supplier Liaison
Manage procurement of stock and operational supplies
Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, discrepancies, and returns
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any delivery or pricing issues
Logistics & Distribution
Coordinate deliveries, collections, and transport scheduling
