Job summary

JDP Carlisle is seeking a proactive Stock Controller to join the Supply Chain team. You will ensure branches have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time, acting as an internal supplier to branches and external customer to suppliers.

The role involves stock replenishment, order processing, transfers, and data management to support overall business performance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing Slim4 stock replenishment to maintain optimum stock levels.
• Processing branch and supplier orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinating and actioning internal stock transfers between branches.
• Supporting day-to-day stock replenishment administration.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and system information.
• Reporting on stock checks, analysing results and identifying discrepancies.
• Managing slow-moving and excess stock.
• Responding to branch and supplier queries professionally and promptly.
• Collaborating with Supply Chain colleagues to share product, supplier and market knowledge.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to team objectives.
