Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the Roanoke area is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to guide daily non-exempt inventory activities and ensure accuracy in line with the client SLA.

You will partner with site leadership to identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements include a High School Diploma; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Knowledge of JDA, Manhattan, WMS, DMPLUS, SAP is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent 4 years experience.
• Knowledge of inventory control concepts and systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer inventory accuracy and shrink contractual requirements are monitored and reported to site leadership.
• Maximize the performance of the site inventory processes and systems to ensure care, custody, and control of customer inventory; accuracy to floor and customer book.
• Provide required documentation to customer, customer’s financial statement auditor or appropriate regulatory auditor in support of compliance requirements.
• Ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for associates.
• Conduct associate performance reviews, individual development plans and succession plans.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, administered, and enforced at appropriate levels.
• Ensure associates have proper training and access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned tasks.
