Job summary

Forest Glen Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Springfield, OH is seeking a compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team. You will assist residents with daily living activities and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality, respectful care for every resident.

Qualifications

• Active STNA certification in Ohio is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming and toileting.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers using proper technique and equipment.
• Assist with meals and hydration for residents.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Promote dignity, respect, and quality of life for each resident.
• Collaborate with nurses and other team members to provide quality care.

Your Responsibilities as an STNA:
