Job summary

Cdcheadstart is seeking an STNA to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate health services for children in Head Start. You will coordinate sensory screenings, manage entries in the MIS, and follow up on referrals to ensure timely care.

Required CNA certification and a high school diploma or GED, with NATCEP completion and active Nurse Aide Registry status. Experience with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years is highly preferred; role involves collaboration with families and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification and a high school diploma or GED.
• Must successfully complete NATCEP and be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Participates in mass screenings (medical, dental) and ensures timely completion of sensory screenings.
• Enters screening data into the MIS and follows up on referrals.
• Acts as liaison between the center, parents, and medical professionals for appointments and follow-ups.
• Maintains health and immunization records and ensures exams comply with HSPPS.
• Attends staff meetings and HMHSAC meetings; reports health services information monthly.
