Piqua Care Center is seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio. You will provide direct nursing care, assist with daily living activities, and monitor resident conditions, supporting a compassionate, person-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active State Tested Nursing Assistant license in this state.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to team work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as toileting, incontinence care, and mobility
• Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team
• Supervise and educate STNAs and other Facility personnel on established policies and procedures
• Participate in staff development activities, including in-service training and orientation programs
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols
• Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, and computer programs accurately
• Report changes in resident conditions to the Nurse Supervisor, LPN, or RN
• Cooperate with inter-departmental personnel to ensure adequate nursing services
• Meet with shift's nursing personnel to identify and correct problem areas
• Review care plans daily and inform of any changes in resident condition
• Honor resident requests and inform them of consequences of treatment decisions
