Job summary

McCrea Manor is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents, assist with daily activities, and monitor health changes. You will work with a nursing team to maintain safety, cleanliness, and high care standards.

You will also participate in staff development, support fellow STNAs, and uphold policies while ensuring accurate charting and reporting of resident conditions. A valid STNA license is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a State Tested Nursing Assistant in this state.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concepts.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices and regulations that pertain to nursing care facilities.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as toileting, incontinence care, and mobility.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the nursing team.
• Supervise and educate STNAs and Facility personnel on policies and procedures.
• Participate in staff development activities, including in-service training and orientation programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment with proper safety and sanitation protocols.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used.
