Job summary

Dublin Post Acute in Dublin, OH is seeking compassionate STNAs to join our team for full-time day shifts. The STNA provides direct resident care under supervision, assisting with activities of daily living and promoting dignity and comfort.

We offer a 12-hour day shift 7:00am–7:00pm with rotating weekend shifts, a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits. Qualified candidates must hold a valid Ohio STNA certification and demonstrate strong communication

Qualifications

  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification is required.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or healthcare is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are important.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
  • Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Respond to call lights promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with meal service and resident hydration.

Position Summary

The STNA provides direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This role assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning of residents.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and mental conditions to nursing staff.
  • Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Answer residents call lights promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with meal service and resident hydration.
  • Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Qualifications
  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
  • Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents safely.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a healthcare setting.
