Job summary

Sonida Senior Living is seeking STNA candidates to join our Shift Team in the Ohio market. You will have the flexibility to pick up shifts at multiple communities in Ohio, with up to 29 hours per week and a premium pay rate.

Locations include The Ashton at Mayfield Heights (Mayfield Heights, OH) and Summit Point / Summit Corners (Macedonia, OH). You decide which shifts to work and how you schedule your week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be a licensed STNA in OH.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with resident care standards, including dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts and transfers.
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, sets dining tables, serves meals, ensures proper fluid intake.
• Reminds residents to take medications and handles containers as needed.
• Recognizes changes in residents' behavior or condition and reports them to the Assisted Living Director.

STNA Responsibilities Include

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
• Recognizes changes in the residents’ behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director
