It is our honor to provide comfort and care to Ohio's heroes at the Ohio Veterans Homes, part of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services. The Therapeutic Program Worker role supports nursing home care for veterans in Georgetown with trauma-informed, inclusive care and opportunities for growth.

Starting pay is $23.28/hr with raises to $23.65/hr, plus $500 bonuses at 120 days and one year, shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts, and generous benefits including tuition reimbursement and health

Qualifications

• STNA certification or listed on Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.
• High school diploma or GED is required where applicable.
• Job skills include Direct Support/Direct Care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with eating, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, oral hygiene, dressing and grooming.
• Transport and accompany residents to activities and programs.
• Complete daily, monthly and required documentation.
• Observe and report changes in symptoms, behaviors, accidents or injuries to the charge nurse.
• Perform light housekeeping in living areas and apply safety and infection control measures.
• Assist with admissions, discharge and transfer of residents.
