Job summary

Caring Hospice Services is seeking a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) to provide compassionate in-home hospice care across clients' homes and care facilities. This mobile role requires reliable transportation and regular travel to patients.

The position offers a $1,000 signing bonus, works 40 hours per week, and includes benefits such as health insurance, 401k, and PTO. Responsibilities include ADLs, mobility assistance, and maintaining a safe patient environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals
• Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications:

• STNA

• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures - Experience in providing care for patients in various settings
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families - Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols - Physical ability to lift and move patients safely
• Expected hours: 40 per week
