Job summary

Caring-Hospice-Services is hiring a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for mobile hospice support across patient homes. The role requires reliable transportation and involves traveling to patient locations to provide in-home care and support.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and basic health monitoring under supervision. A $1,000 signing bonus is offered to new team members joining the field-based care team.

Qualifications

• STNA credential or certification.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care settings.
• Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately; strong communication with families.
• Physical ability to lift/move patients and assist with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals
• Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• STNA
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures - Experience in providing care for patients in various settings
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families - Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols - Physical ability to lift and move patients safely
• Expected hours: 40 per week
