Villa Georgetown Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our dedicated team in Ohio. You will perform direct, hands-on care for residents, working closely with nurses and healthcare staff to ensure dignity and comfort.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents' health, aid mobility, and document care while maintaining a safe healing environment.

Qualifications

Position Overview:

As an STNA at New Lebanon, you will play a vital role in delivering direct, hands-on care to our residents. Working closely with a compassionate team of nurses and healthcare professionals, you will assist with daily activities, provide personal care, and ensure that each resident is treated with respect and dignity. You will be an essential part of a team committed to providing the highest quality care in a nurturing and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Direct Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Monitor Health: Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team, ensuring prompt attention to their needs.
• Assist with Mobility: Help residents with mobility, including transferring them safely from beds to chairs, and assist with exercises or physical therapy when needed.
• Provide Emotional Support: Build meaningful relationships with residents, offering emotional support and companionship to improve their overall well-being.
• Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure that the residents' environment is clean, safe, and conducive to healing, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Document Care: Accurately document the care provided and any changes in residents' condition for the healthcare team.

What We’re Looking For:

• STNA Certification: Must hold a valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in the state of Ohio
