Job summary

RTX is seeking a Stinger Launcher Program Manager in Tucson, AZ. The role leads multiple launcher programs, drives cost, schedule, and performance, and maintains customer relationships across US military and allied programs.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance, 12+ years of program management experience or 10+ with an advanced degree, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across dispersed locations. Onsite work with some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, or an Advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Experience in Program Management and Risk & Opportunity measures.
• Experience with production programs and DoD/government programs.
• CORE certification or equivalent process-improvement experience.
• PMX Certification Level 3 or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with financial analysis tools and project management systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to establish and maintain key program metrics for deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Stinger launcher programs and lead PMs.
• Drive accountability and a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Lead a high-performing, cross-functional, geographically dispersed team.
• Own customer interfaces across US, FMS and DCS customers.
• Manage EVMS, risk, RLPM, and financial forecasts.
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives using RLPM and CORE.
• Deliver projects on time; monitor budgets and schedules.
• Present Annual Operating Plan and forecasts; meet financial goals.
• Drive program metrics and milestones; ensure program health.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
