Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a STIHL Technician to repair and maintain STIHL power equipment, demonstrate usage to customers, and drive sales while supporting store operations.

The role focuses on safe repair practices, parts stocking, and providing excellent customer service in a retail environment. High school or GED is required, with strong communication and teamwork skills expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, assembly directions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration and motivate others both internal and external to perform enthusiastically.
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs) regularly, and lifting (up to 100lbs) occasionally with assistance, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment repair and ensures it is safe and ready for processing.
• Orders repair parts as needed for equipment repair.
• Validates proper check in and check out of equipment.
• Maintains repair and maintenance schedules for STIHL equipment.
• Notifies management of pricing irregularities in the system.
• Delivers high levels of customer service to shoppers.
• Completes company paperwork including Price Change Bulletins, Operation Actions, Red Tags, and Bin Tags.
• Receives and unpacks cartons, replenishes stock, and builds attractive displays.
• Maintains inventory accuracy including cycle counts and negative on-hand.
• Follows maintenance checklist for store recovery and cleanliness.
