Qualifications

• Doctorate in epidemiology or a related health science with relevant experience.
• Additional graduate coursework in public health or an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Fellowship may substitute for required experience.
• Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, statistics, or health informatics with four years' epidemiology experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead maintenance and improvement of automated surveillance processes and informatics solutions for statewide STI surveillance.
• Design and maintain automated workflows for case identification, matching, deduplication, QA, and reporting using SAS, R, SQL, and other tools.
• Oversee data quality activities within NBS and PRISM, ensuring data completeness and CDC standards.
• Develop documentation, QA procedures, and SOPs to support modernization efforts.
• Lead analysis and dissemination of STI surveillance reports for program operations and CDC reporting.
