Job summary

Douglas County (NE) seeks an experienced clinic supervisor to coordinate the STI and Immunization programs. The role directs operations, guides staff and volunteers, and ensures readiness and policy compliance.

It requires a nursing or public health background, Nebraska licensure, and strong supervisory skills. Responsibilities include staff training, license maintenance, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with officials to deliver quality community health services in a busy county clinic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Public Health Administration, Health Care Administration or Management required.
• RN or Nurse Practitioner with Nebraska license or compact state license at hire and in good standing.
• Two years of MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor operations of the STI and Immunization program.
• Guide and assist staff, subcontractors, temporary staff and volunteers to achieve program goals.
• Maintain clinic readiness, monitor performance and delegate tasks.
• Ensure policies comply with federal/state laws and best practices; maintain licenses.
• Coordinate training, staff development and offsite clinic logistics.
• Maintain confidentiality of PHI and ensure safe, respectful work environment.
