Job summary

Douglas County Health Department seeks an STI/Immunization Clinic Coordinator (Grant Funded) to direct operations, manage staff, and ensure program goals are met in the Sexually Transmitted Infection and Immunization clinics.

This role requires a nursing or public health background, Nebraska RN license, BLS/CPR, and strong leadership. The position offers full-time hours, onsite work at 1111 South 41st Street, with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Public Health Administration, Health Care Administration or Management required.
• Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with current Nebraska license or compact state license at hire and in good standing.
• Two years of MSOffice experience required.
• Two years of experience in immunizations and/or sexual health preferred.
• One year of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• One year experience using an electronic health record preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor operations and program activities of STI and Immunization programs.
• Guide and assist staff, subcontractors, temporary staff and volunteers to achieve program goals.
• Maintain relationships with clients, staff, officials, and the public.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and best practices in immunization and STI fields.
• Oversee clinic staffing levels, scheduling and offsite clinic logistics.
• Manage clinic staff, including registration, medical assistant or nursing roles.
• Maintain confidentiality of PHI and ensure high-quality care standards.
• Coordinate training and staff meetings with clinical updates and process changes.
