Job summary

Douglas County - Health Department is seeking an STI/Immunization Clinic Coordinator (Grant Funded) to lead and coordinate the STI and Immunization programs. The role manages operations, staff guidance, and compliance with public health standards.

The position requires nursing or public health leadership, an active Nebraska license (RN/NP), and experience in EHRs and immunization programs. Full-time with potential for offsite clinics and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Public Health or related field is required.
• RN or NP licensure current in Nebraska or compact state.
• Two years MS Office experience required.
• Two years immunizations/sexual health experience preferred.
• One year supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• One year experience using an EHR preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license and transportation required.
• Pre-employment background check required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor operations of the STI and Immunization clinics.
• Provide guidance and training to clinic staff, subcontractors, and volunteers.
• Maintain relationships with clients, staff, and partners to meet program goals.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and best practices in immunization and STI care.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling, including offsite pop-up clinics.
• Oversee CureMD EHR documentation and reporting.
• Support clinic policy development and process improvements.
• Coordinate training and clinical staff updates.
