Job summary

Douglas County, Nebraska seeks a Nursing Supervisor to manage the STI and Immunization Clinic operations, ensuring alignment with public health goals and evidence-based practices. You will guide staff, coordinate scheduling, supervise licenses and training, and collaborate with the Clinic Supervisor to implement patient care standards while maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is required.
• Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with Nebraska license or compact state license.
• Two years MS Office experience required.
• Two years immunizations and/or sexual health experience preferred.
• One year supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor operations and program activities of the STI and Immunization program.
• Guide, direct and provide technical assistance to clinic staff and volunteers to achieve program goals.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships with clients, supervisors, and the public.
• Ensure clinic readiness by assigning duties, monitoring performance and delegating tasks.
• Coordinate training activities for clinic staff and conduct stand-up meetings.
