Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s in Human Services preferred; STI education/counseling experience helpful.
• No caregiver background check convictions would disqualify a candidate.
• Valid driver’s license and sufficient insurance to meet agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual/group education and counseling on sexual activity, STIs, safe sex, harm reduction, and transmission.
• Support STI testing and treatment access and discuss test results and treatment plans.
• Train staff and serve as subject matter expert for STI education and counseling.
• Assist lead medical staff with STI service operations, including material ordering and space prep.
• Collaborate with pharmacy to ensure treatment adherence and access.
