Job summary

Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center is seeking an STI Assistant Program Coordinator to supervise program staff, manage day-to-day activities, and deliver direct patient services as needed.

In this role you will help plan, budget, monitor workloads, ensure documentation, and coordinate staff orientation and training, while developing partnerships with IDPH and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field (Public Health, Health Education, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree in a related field and seven years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision and program management of assigned staff and activities.
• Provides direct patient services as required.
• Participates in program planning, budgeting, and review; makes improvement recommendations.
• Monitors workloads and ensures quality and quantity of work.
• Delivers ongoing clinical supervision and acts as a resource for staff.
• Completes performance appraisals and monthly feedback.
• Maintains documentation and prepares reports.
• Coordinates orientation of staff and interns; identifies development needs.
• Develops and maintains relationships with partners, IDPH, and community orgs.
