Job summary

Maricopa County's STI Clinic Supervisor leads daily operations to deliver patient-centered STI services. You will coordinate clinical and support staff, optimize patient flow, and uphold quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Required are five years of clinical-administrative experience and a high school diploma or GED, with CPR within six months and immunization compliance as per policy. This role may involve travel and on-site requirements.

Qualifications

• Five years of administrative experience in a clinical setting.
• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license by hire date.
• Immunizations for vaccine-preventable illnesses as required; CPR within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate clinic processes to manage patient flow and staff tasks.
• Direct, coordinate, and supervise HR functions: hiring, supervision, performance reviews, coaching, and corrective actions.
• Develop staffing schedules and work assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control to meet clinic standards and improve patient care.
• Address operational issues and patient concerns; escalate as needed to maintain service quality.
• Participate in committees and represent the division in governance activities.
