Job summary

Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Stewarding department during a shift. You will manage equipment, sanitation standards, and staff assignments to maintain Omni's high service levels.

Ideal candidates will have prior supervisory experience in hospitality, be proficient with MS Word/Excel/Outlook, and able to work weekends and holidays. This role offers a path within Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment preferred.
• Experience in steward/dishwasher capacity.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Steward with the efficient and effective running of the Stewarding Department.
• Supervise Stewarding team ensuring assignments are performed to Omni standard and within timeframes.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the Stewarding areas.
• Execute company policies relating to the Stewarding Department and budgetary controls.
• Manage storage and requisitioning of materials and equipment; report breakages and consumption.
