Mauna Kea Resort is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the Steward Department, train staff, and ensure sanitary conditions across the Food & Beverage and Food Preparation areas.

You will supervise daily operations, delegate dishwashing tasks, maintain inventory of china, glassware, and silverware, and coordinate with other departments to support banquets and events. Prior hospitality experience in stewarding is preferred.

Competenze

• Must have Department of Health TB clearance.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Experience in stewarding or kitchen support environments is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Maintain a sanitary environment and ensure clean service ware and utensils for Food & Beverage and Food Preparation Departments.
• Train, schedule, supervise and handle administrative functions for all Steward Department members.
• Delegate dish and equipment washing and silver polishing tasks.
• Direct staff to keep back-of-house areas clean and within health standards.
• Manage the cleaning schedule to meet health inspection requirements.
• Maintain inventory for China, glassware and silverware and coordinate distributions.
• Ensure proper upkeep of kitchen equipment and ware washing areas.
• Coordinate services and supplies with other departments and relay events and assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Chef and Senior Supervisor.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks and ensure adequate cleaning supplies and budget adherence.
