Job summary

Hilton in Hawaii seeks an Assistant-Head Utility Steward to keep serviceware spotless and support a high standard of hospitality. You’ll manage cleaning duties, stock levels, and setup for banquets, while mentoring junior stewards to elevate team performance.

You will also ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations to safeguard guest and staff wellbeing, contributing to Hilton’s warm guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Keep serviceware spotless: clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels: ensure supplies and equipment are well stocked and organized for seamless service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness: perform cleaning tasks including mopping and trash removal.
• Support events delivery: prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor team members: share expertise with new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Comply with regulatory standards: maintain health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness compliance.
