Job summary

Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to support the Manager in daily stewarding operations across front/back-of-house areas. You will train, coach, and schedule staff while ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food safety regulations.

Availability for all shifts, including overnights, weekends and holidays, is required. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing inventory, and collaborating with Culinary and Banquets teams to ensure

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience in Stewarding, Food & Beverage, Culinary Operations, or Hospitality preferred.
Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and team-development skills.
Proficiency with hotel systems and technology platforms and the ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise stewarding staff to keep kitchens and back-of-house areas clean, safe, and organized.
Train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve goals and uphold Hyatt standards.
Oversee usage and care of dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering of supplies.
Coordinate with culinary and banquet teams during service and events.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
