As a Steward Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for assigned operational functions within the department. Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments, standards/expectations, financial goals, and policies/procedures are consistently upheld while promoting and building positive public, employee and departmental relations at all times.
Possesses thorough knowledge of proper usage and maintenance of all equipment to sustain and improve cleanliness and sanitation of such equipment. Inspects equipment and assures PM is in effect. This also includes day to day operations ensuring proper cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of all ware washing machines, equipment and chemicals.
Maintains a seamless and hassle-free work environment by conducting on-the-job training programs for all department personnel. Identifies any performance gaps with talent and provides proper coaching.
Educating and keeping up to date knowledge regarding all codes relating to sanitation according to State and Federal guidelines
Prepares talent schedules based on forecasting data according to company guidelines and develops production schedules, pars according to outlet projections. This includes assisting in the coordination of stewarding personnel and accurate record and log maintenance.
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility ensuring all daily and weekly cleaning and deep cleaning schedules are followed to keep the property fresh.
Performs any duty of equal or lesser complexity assigned by the Executive Steward or Assistant Executive Steward.
The rate for this role is: $24.00
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
