Yonkers, New York-based MGM Resorts International is seeking a Stewarding Assistant Manager to lead our stewarding operations across back-of-house facilities. You will ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of stewarding experience in hotels or casinos, strong leadership, knowledge of sanitation standards, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Two years of stewarding experience in a hotel or casino setting.
• Able to obtain NYS Gaming Commission licensing.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, materials, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Spanish fluency and union environment experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

The Job

The Stewarding Assistant Manager leads the stewarding operations, ensuring seamless back‑of‑house support for our food and beverage outlets while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

The Day-to-day

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be at least 18 years or older and able to obtain required licensing through the New York State Gaming Commission
• At least two years of prior relevant experience including stewarding within the hotel or casino industry
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, materials, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Experience in a union environment and Spanish fluency are a plus
