  • Ensure operation and maintenance of dishwashing machines and stewarding equipment; report issues for repair.
  • Collaborate with chefs, managers, and service staff to ensure smooth flow of clean equipment during busy periods.
  • Assist with hands-on dishwashing and cleaning tasks during peak times or staff shortages.

Job Title: Stewarding Supervisor


Department: Food & Beverage


Reports to: Executive Chef


As a Steward Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of both the kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the stewarding team, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring the proper handling of kitchen equipment and tableware, and upholding high standards for the use of cleaning chemicals and dish areas.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift).

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. (e.g., dish racks, cleaning supplies, or garbage).

  • Ability to work in hot, humid, and sometimes noisy environments.

  • Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and follow proper sanitation standards.

  • Tolerance for repetitive tasks such as scrubbing, rinsing, or polishing dishes and kitchenware.

  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
