Job summary

The Hilton Charlotte Uptown is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor (AM Shift) to lead the Stewarding team in a fast-paced F&B environment in Uptown Charlotte. Availability 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm.

You will supervise staff, read BEOs, operate cleaning equipment, and uphold food safety standards while working as part of a team or independently. This role includes competitive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• 1 Year experience in a fast paced stewarding, restaurant, culinary or similar environment
• Ability to supervise others and provide guidance in a fast paced F&B environment and training to Stewarding team members
• Must read Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and organize duties per BEO details

Responsibilities

• Supervise Stewarding team during AM shift and guide staff
• Read BEOs and organize duties and tasks based on BEO details
• Operate kitchen cleaning equipment including dishwashing machines
• Stand for duration of shift and push/pull food transport boxes and dishware carts
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper standards for equipment operation
• Complete a variety of kitchen cleaning duties
• Work in a team atmosphere or independently

The Hilton Charlotte Uptown is an upscale full-service property featuring 400 state of the art guestrooms and 35,000 ft. of banquet space in the heart of Uptown Charlotte.

At the Hilton Charlotte Uptown, team members enjoy a fun and high-energy environment. We are currently seeking a Stewarding Supervisor (AM Shift) to join our team!

This position is for AM SHIFT/First shift. Candidate must have availability to work from 6am-2:30pm and/or 7am-3;30pm

Stewarding Supervisor Requirements:

• Ability to supervise others and provide guidance in a fast paced F&B environment and provide guidance and training to Stewarding team members
• Must be able to read Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) and organize duties and tasks based on BEO details and requirements
• Must be able to operate kitchen cleaning equipment to include kitchen dish washing machines
• Must be able to stand for duration of shift and push/pull food transport boxes and dishware carts
• Must be able to follow food safety guidelines, proper standards for operation of kitchen equipment and ability to complete duties within established time frames
• Must be able to complete a variety of kitchen cleaning duties
• Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently

Candidates must be available for AM shift scheduling - 6am-2:30pm and/or 7am-3:30pm. Scheduled days will include weekdays and weekends.
