Job summary

Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas seeks a Stewarding Assistant Manager to support the Executive Steward. You will help manage staffing and kitchens, train and schedule stewarding staff, and coordinate with catering chefs to ensure smooth operations.

You will conduct daily inspections to verify compliance with health and fire codes, oversee maintenance of kitchen areas and equipment, and manage inventory and supplies.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication, reading and writing; second language a plus.
• Minimum 2 years stewarding management experience in a high-volume luxury hotel/casino; union experience a plus.
• Knowledge of chemicals, personal protective equipment, sanitation guidelines, biohazard cleanup and life safety.
• Ability to manage all aspects of the stewarding operation.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain/maintain required licenses/work cards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Steward in staffing and kitchens.
• Train and schedule stewarding staff.
• Conduct daily inspections of facilities to ensure conformance with health and fire code regulations.
• Plan, direct and oversee maintenance of kitchen areas and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain inventory and supplies necessary to support stewarding staff, coordinating stewarding needs with catering chefs.
